Philippine consular outreach missions bring selected government services closer to Filipino communities that would otherwise need to travel to a permanent Embassy or Consulate General. For 2026, there is no single nationwide outreach calendar covering every U.S. state. The Philippine Embassy and individual Consulates General publish their own dates, appointment instructions, service lists, and changes. The schedule below separates missions that are still ahead from events that have already been completed, based on official mission information checked on October 15, 2026.
Why this matters →
An outreach date is useful only when the correct organizing post, available service, appointment status, and application deadline are checked together.
Upcoming 2026 Philippine Consular Outreach Missions in the USA
Only outreach dates still ahead as of October 15, 2026 are listed in this section. Bristol and Raleigh have been moved out of the upcoming schedule because both missions have already been completed.
| City and State | Date | Organizing Post | Appointment Status | Booking Deadline | Services | Last Verified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lubbock, Texas | October 16–17, 2026 | Philippine Consulate General in Houston | Passport appointment slots open; other services are first come, first served | No separate closing date is stated in the posted notice | Passport; other consular services on a first-come, first-served basis | October 15, 2026[k] |
| Reno, Nevada | October 17–18, 2026 | Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco | OPEN | No separate deadline is shown on the current outreach schedule; availability is controlled by the appointment systems | The San Francisco outreach page lists passport, dual citizenship, civil registry, notarial services, and overseas voting among its outreach services | October 15, 2026[b] |
| Albuquerque, New Mexico | October 18–19, 2026 | Philippine Consulate General in Houston | Passport appointment slots open; other services are first come, first served | No separate closing date is stated in the posted notice | Passport; other consular services on a first-come, first-served basis | October 15, 2026[k] |

| Jacksonville, Florida | November 13–14, 2026 | Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. | Passport appointments open; dual citizenship requires advance mail review; overseas voter registration needs no appointment | Passport: until slots are filled; dual citizenship applications must be mailed by October 16, 2026 | Passport, dual citizenship, overseas voter registration | October 15, 2026[l] |
Pittsburgh Date Notice: The New York Consulate’s October 8 announcement has an inconsistent date in its title. The page title says October 25–26, while the announcement text and the Consulate’s main outreach page both state October 24–25, 2026. The schedule above uses October 24–25 because that date appears in the mission description and the current outreach page. Applicants should recheck the official notice before traveling.[m]
The Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. also announced a fourth-quarter outreach program covering Florida and Caribbean locations. This page is limited to U.S. outreach missions, so Caribbean events are not added to the U.S. schedule. Jacksonville is the currently announced Florida mission included above.[n]
Upcoming Outreach Details
Lubbock and Albuquerque — Houston PCG
The Philippine Consulate General in Houston has posted two October outreach missions: Lubbock, Texas on October 16–17 and Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 18–19. The official notice states that passport appointment slots are open through passport.gov.ph. Applicants must select the Houston outreach site corresponding to the city where they will appear.[k]
The same notice says applicants seeking other consular services will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. As checked on October 15, the posted notice still identifies the venue as TBA, so applicants should use the Consulate’s current announcement before traveling.
Reno, Nevada — October 17–18
The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco lists its Reno mission at SureStay Plus by Best Western Reno Airport, 1981 Terminal Way, Suite 1, Reno, NV 89502. The official outreach schedule currently marks the appointment status as OPEN.[b]
The San Francisco outreach page provides separate booking channels for passport and dual citizenship services. It also lists civil registry, notarial services, and overseas voting among the services handled through its outreach program. Overseas voter registration assistance has also been announced for the Reno dates.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — October 24–25
The New York Consulate’s outreach page states that the Pittsburgh-area mission will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on October 24–25 at the Philippine Center of Pittsburgh, 200 Church Street, West Mifflin, PA 15122.[e]
The announced services are:
- Philippine passport services
- Retention or reacquisition of Philippine citizenship
- Consular notarization
- Overseas voter registration
- Social Security System services
Passport applicants use the DFA Global Online Appointment System. For other consular services, the New York Consulate instructs applicants to email completed forms and required documents to newyorkpcg.consularoutreach@dfa.gov.ph at least seven days before the scheduled mission. Applicants who pre-register for non-passport services are normally contacted with their appointment schedule around three days before the outreach.
Jacksonville, Florida — November 13–14
The Philippine Embassy announced on October 11 that passport appointments for Jacksonville are open. Applicants can book through passport.gov.ph by choosing PE Washington DC – Outreach in Jacksonville, Florida. Slots remain open until filled.[l]
Dual citizenship follows a different procedure. Complete applications must be mailed to the Embassy by October 16, 2026. The Jacksonville notice also states that successful dual citizenship applicants do not need to book a separate passport appointment; their passport applications can be processed after the oath-taking. Overseas voter registration does not require an appointment.
Appointment Status Can Change Before the Outreach: “Open” does not mean slots will remain available until the event begins. Passport slots can fill, document-review windows can close, and an outreach can remain scheduled even after appointments are no longer available.

Services Are Not the Same at Every Outreach
A city appearing on an outreach calendar does not mean every Embassy or Consulate service will be available there. Service combinations are set by the organizing mission and can differ even between events conducted only days apart.
For example, the Pittsburgh announcement specifically lists passport, dual citizenship, notarization, overseas voter registration, and SSS. Jacksonville lists passport, dual citizenship, and overseas voter registration. Houston’s Lubbock and Albuquerque notice specifically opens passport appointment slots and says applicants for other services will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reno is handled through San Francisco’s broader outreach system, which publishes booking links for passport and dual citizenship and lists civil registry, notarial services, and overseas voting among the outreach services. Applicants should use the booking method connected to the service they actually need.
Appointment Opening Dates Can Be Different From Outreach Dates
Saving only the event date is not enough. Some missions require action days or weeks earlier.
Jacksonville is scheduled for November 13–14, but passport slots were announced as open on October 11 and dual citizenship applications must be mailed by October 16. Pittsburgh uses another system: passport applicants book through the DFA platform, while applicants for other services must send their forms and supporting documents to the New York Consulate at least seven days before the outreach.
Appointment Status and Event Status Are Different: An outreach can be scheduled while appointments are open, already full, awaiting document review, or restricted to clients with confirmed slots. A future event date alone does not create a walk-in right.
Passport and Dual Citizenship May Use Different Booking Systems
Applicants should not assume that one registration covers every service. The Washington Embassy separates ordinary passport booking from dual citizenship processing. Passport applicants normally use online appointments, while dual citizenship applicants mail complete applications for review before receiving an oath-taking schedule.
Jacksonville has an event-specific exception worth noting: the Embassy states that dual citizenship applicants do not need to make a separate passport appointment because their passport application can be processed after the oath-taking.[l] That Jacksonville instruction should not be assumed to apply automatically to an outreach organized by another post.
The New York Consulate also separates passport processing from other outreach services. Passport applicants use the DFA appointment system, while non-passport applicants submit forms and supporting documents to the Consulate for pre-registration.[e]
Chicago outreach missions use their own service-specific instructions as well. Applicants seeking dual citizenship, civil registry, notarization, or other transactions should follow the instructions for the exact event rather than assume a passport appointment covers all transactions.
Which Philippine Mission Covers Your State?
Outreach announcements are issued by the diplomatic mission responsible for a particular jurisdiction. The Philippine Embassy’s official Consulate Finder assigns U.S. states and regions among the Embassy and Consulates General.[h]
| Mission | U.S. Jurisdiction |
|---|---|
| Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. | Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia |
| Philippine Consulate General in Chicago | Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin |
| Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu | Hawaii and American Samoa |
| Philippine Consulate General in Houston | Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas |
| Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles | Arizona; Southern Nevada; Southern California |
| Philippine Consulate General in New York | Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont |
| Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco | Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Northern California, Northern Nevada |
| Philippine Consulate General in Seattle | Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington |
| Philippine Consulate General in Agana | Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands |
California and Nevada require extra attention because jurisdiction is divided geographically. Los Angeles handles the Southern California counties assigned to that post and Southern Nevada counties of Clark, Lincoln, and Nye. San Francisco handles the specified Northern California counties and Northern Nevada, including Washoe County, where Reno is located.
Seattle Now Covers the Pacific Northwest States Assigned to the New Consulate
The Philippine Consulate General in Seattle serves Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Residents of those states should monitor Seattle rather than older San Francisco outreach information when looking for newly announced local services or future missions.[i]
Seattle Service Status: As of October 15, 2026, Seattle remains in a phased soft-opening period. Its official site states that passport and visa services are temporarily unavailable, while notarial, civil registry, and dual citizenship services are available only as announced. Additional services are to be introduced in phases.[i]
If Your State Is Not in the Upcoming Outreach Schedule
A state missing from the upcoming table does not automatically mean no further 2026 mission will be announced. Philippine posts do not all publish schedules in the same way. Some issue multi-month calendars, while others publish an individual mission closer to the event.
Chicago’s current outreach list, for example, shows Indianapolis as its latest completed 2026 mission and does not currently list another later 2026 outreach. Los Angeles continues to display its completed August Las Vegas mission without a newer outreach announcement. Future notices can still be added by the responsible post.
When no outreach is listed, monitor the responsible mission’s official outreach or announcement page, use the permanent Embassy or Consulate General if the service is available there, or watch for a nearby mission within the same consular jurisdiction.
Tip: Do not use an old community flyer, social-media screenshot, or previous year’s venue as proof that a new outreach will take place in the same location. The official post should provide the current date, service list, and booking method.
Outreach Missions Can Be Rescheduled
The Maryland Heights, Missouri mission provides a 2026 example. Chicago originally scheduled that mission for January 24, later postponed it, and conducted the rescheduled outreach on February 7, 2026.[j]
The Washington Embassy’s fourth-quarter program provides another example outside the U.S. portion of this schedule: its Grenada mission was changed from October 24 to November 1. The Embassy states that its outreach dates and locations are tentative and subject to change.[n]
Travel Warning: Applicants driving across state lines or booking hotels should check the final official notice shortly before departure. A date saved weeks earlier may no longer reflect a postponement, venue change, or appointment restriction.
Consular Outreach Is Not the Same as Every Off-Site Government Activity
Philippine missions may participate in community events for a single government service without conducting a full consular outreach. For example, a post may operate an overseas voter registration booth at a community event without offering passport, dual citizenship, civil registry, or notarial transactions.
The same distinction applies to SSS, overseas voting, Migrant Workers Office services, and other participating agencies. Their presence can vary from one event to another.
How to Prepare for a 2026 Outreach Appointment
The correct sequence depends on the organizing post, but applicants can avoid most scheduling problems by separating the outreach date from the application process.
Step 1: Confirm the Responsible Mission
Use the applicant’s state and, where necessary, county to identify the Embassy or Consulate General responsible for the case. California and Nevada applicants should pay particular attention to the geographic jurisdiction split.
Step 2: Open the Notice for the Exact City and Date
Requirements from a different outreach should not be reused automatically. Reno, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Lubbock, and Albuquerque are being organized by different posts and do not share one booking system.
Step 3: Check the Service Before Registering
Confirm that the event actually offers the intended transaction. Passport, dual citizenship, notarization, civil registration, overseas voting, and SSS services are not included in every mission.
Step 4: Follow the Booking Method for That Service
Passport appointments may use the DFA Global Online Appointment System. Dual citizenship can require advance mail or email review. Some Houston outreach services are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Do not assume that an appointment for one service authorizes another transaction.
Step 5: Wait for Confirmation When the Mission Requires It
Several outreach procedures limit admission to applicants with confirmed slots. A submitted email, mailed application, or completed pre-registration is not always the same as a confirmed appointment.
Step 6: Recheck the Notice Before Traveling
Review the venue, appointment time, original-document requirements, photocopies, payment method, and return-envelope instructions. This is especially important when the organizing post has changed a date or the published notice still shows a venue as pending.
Before Leaving for an Outreach:
- Confirm the city, venue, date, and appointment time.
- Confirm that the needed service is listed for that mission.
- Check whether the appointment is still open or already confirmed.
- Bring the appointment or registration confirmation when required.
- Bring all originals and photocopies required by the event-specific notice.
- Check the accepted payment method.
- Bring a self-addressed or prepaid return envelope when the service requires one.
- Check once more for postponement, cancellation, date conflict, or venue changes.
Questions About the 2026 Outreach Schedule
Is There One Official Philippine Consular Outreach Calendar for the Entire USA?
No. The Embassy and individual Consulates General publish schedules for their own jurisdictions. This is why an Embassy page may list Florida while the San Francisco, New York, Houston, Chicago, or Los Angeles posts publish different cities.
Which U.S. Outreach Missions Are Still Upcoming as of October 15, 2026?
The official information checked for this page shows upcoming missions in Lubbock, Reno, Albuquerque, Pittsburgh, and Jacksonville. Appointment status differs by post and service.
Are Bristol and Raleigh Still Upcoming?
No. Bristol was completed on August 15–16, and the Raleigh-Durham outreach was completed on September 19–20. Both now belong in the completed schedule rather than the upcoming list.
Do Consular Outreach Missions Accept Walk-Ins?
Applicants should not assume that walk-ins are accepted. Reno currently shows open appointment booking. New York requires appointments or pre-registration. Jacksonville requires passport appointments and advance dual citizenship submission. Houston’s current Lubbock and Albuquerque notice says applicants for services other than passport will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
Why Does Pittsburgh Show Two Different Date Ranges on the Official Website?
The New York Consulate’s article title says October 25–26, but the text of that same announcement and the Consulate’s outreach page say October 24–25. The body text is used on this page, but applicants should recheck the official announcement before travel in case the Consulate updates the discrepancy.
Can a Filipino Attend an Outreach in a Nearby State?
Some outreach announcements are intended for residents of the host state and surrounding communities, but applicants should confirm eligibility with the organizing post before traveling. A geographically closer outreach does not automatically mean that every transaction will be accepted there.
Can Dual Citizenship and a Philippine Passport Be Processed During the Same Outreach?
Sometimes. The exact procedure depends on the post. For Jacksonville, the Washington Embassy states that dual citizenship applicants do not need to secure a separate passport appointment because the passport application can be processed after the oath-taking. Other missions may use a different procedure.
What Does “Open” Mean on the Reno Schedule?
The San Francisco Consulate’s outreach page currently marks Reno’s appointment status as OPEN. Applicants should still use the official passport or dual citizenship appointment channel because “open” does not guarantee that every service and time slot remains available indefinitely.
What Does “Tentative” Mean on an Embassy Outreach Schedule?
It means the organizing mission may change the date, location, or other event details before the outreach. A tentative entry can be used for planning, but it should not be treated as final travel confirmation.
Verification Reminder: Consular outreach dates, venues, appointment openings, service availability, fees, and documentary procedures can change. Recheck the responsible Philippine Embassy or Consulate General’s official announcement before submitting documents or traveling to an outreach site.
