Filipino Guide USA was created for one reason: too many Filipinos living in or moving to the United States run into the same problem. The information they need exists somewhere, but it is scattered across government websites, outdated forum threads, and articles that were written for a general audience and do not speak to the specifics of being Filipino in America.
This site tries to fix that. Every page here is written with the Filipino community in mind, whether that means a newly arrived immigrant figuring out their first steps, a long-time resident dealing with a document renewal, or someone back home trying to understand what a family member in the U.S. is going through.
What This Site Covers
The topics on this site center on the practical side of Filipino life in the United States. That includes visa and immigration processes, consular services, official documents, and the everyday administrative steps that often go unexplained elsewhere.
Content is written in plain English, structured to match what people are actually searching for, and sourced from official government and institutional references wherever possible. Pages are updated when rules, fees, or procedures change.
How We Approach the Content
Every article on this site starts with a question someone actually asked or a process someone actually needed to understand. We look at what existing resources miss, what gets misunderstood most often, and what a well-informed person would say if they were sitting across the table from you.
We do not publish content to fill space. If a topic is too complex to cover accurately in a single article, we say so and point you toward the official source instead.
A Note on Official Information
This site provides general information, not legal or immigration advice. Government fees, procedures, and requirements change, sometimes without much public notice. We do our best to keep pages accurate and up to date, but we always recommend checking the official source before you file, pay, or travel.
If you find something on this site that is outdated or incorrect, please let us know at support@filipinoguideusa.com. We take accuracy seriously and will review the page promptly.
